Amarylleth is a Moon Elf hailing from the Naeriath family, a family of yeoman sailors in the elven kingdom of Peltas.
In her ambition to bring prominence to her family name, she joined the Royal Army at a young age instead of the Navy as was tradition in her family. Gifted with unparalleled swiftness and dexterity, she consistently executed her tasks with remarkable efficiency and speed, though her unorthodox approaches to accomplishing her goals and brash demeanor earned her the derisive moniker of “Hummingbird”, for she was also considered too flighty and instinctive in her approach. Her mindset echoed the sentiment, "As long as the objective is accomplished without jeopardizing the mission, I shall undertake it as I please."
This unorthodox approach led to Amarylleth being fast-tracked out of the military after being deemed too unruly even for the more elite divisions of the Royal Army; However, her unique skill set, rebellious attitude, and indomitable moxie made her perfect for the near-mythical agency known as The Nightshades, an elite all-female assassin order serving as the Royal Secret Service.
In the realm of combat, Amarylleth wielded shortblades with exceptional prowess, favoring her enchanted poisonous dagger known as "Nightsting." The blade, bearing the same name as one of her aliases, became an extension of her very being. Complementing her lethal finesse was a hand crossbow christened "Whisper Fang," which she employed either individually or in combination with her bladed weapons. Furthermore, her repertoire included a vast array of poisons and venomous substances, diligently utilized during her covert missions.
Beneath Amarylleth's affable and seemingly innocent demeanor lays a ruthless and cold-hearted demon for those she is sent against. Luckily, those she is sent against are enemies of the Peltasian monarch; There is no particular love for the Throne in her heart, her motivations being the advancement and prosperity of her family above all else.
Crossing her or posing a threat to those she holds dear unleashes her unyielding wrath, resulting in swift and fatal retribution. For those deemed mortal enemies, she is known to inflict the most excruciating tortures imaginable.
A true embodiment of agility and lethality, her Nightshade sisters have fittingly attributed her with the epitaph, "Floats like a butterfly... stings like a Manticore!"
